Autumn has its charm: walks through wet grass, leaves rustling under your dog's paws, a breeze that freshens the air. But with the bleak weather come the less-loved smells: dampness, mud, and a wet coat.
Especially during this season, we noticed firsthand how important it is to have a good grooming routine. Not only to keep your dog clean, but also to maintain that fresh, well-groomed feeling in the house. There is nothing quite like coming home to a house that still smells wonderful, even after a recent autumn walk.
Care with respect for the skin
We heard it often: people use their own shampoo or even baby shampoo to wash their dog. But a dog's skin is much more delicate. Even the gentlest human shampoo does not have the correct pH value and can disrupt the skin's natural balance.
